  5. Most programs have to be installed before running. Use "install" or
  6. "setup" command in program directory to do this. Some games should be 
  7. copied to hard drive before setup.
  8.  
  9. Example (Heretic):    1. Copy heretic directory to your hard drive. 
  10.                       2. Use attrib command to remove write protection
  11.                          flag from files. (Give command "Attrib -r *.*"
  12.                          in heretic directory on your hard drive.)
  13.                          This allows you to save your setup information.
  14.                       3. Run "setup". (Not required if you do not have
  15.                          sound card or you do not want sound on.)
  16.                       4. Run "heretic".

  18. Most previews of games should be runned directly from CD. For example
  19. baldies preview starts when you enter "baldies" in "baldies" directory.

  21. Dark Forces starts with "demo" command.

  24. Problems with running demos or games?
  25. - check config.sys and autoexec.bat files for memory configuration.
  26. - do you have required hardware installed? (Enough RAM memory.)
  27. - are you in right directory when typeing commands?
  28. - no sound? Did you run setup? Well, you should.
  29. - everything ok, but can not save setup. Remove write protection flag.
  30. - most programs should be started from MS-DOS prompt. (Not from Windows.)
  31. - of cource programs in directory "win95prg" works from Windows 95.

  33. Note that all programs might not work in certain configurations of
  34. hardware. Check if there is readme file in directory that explains
  35. what is required.
